The law office has much to celebrate as we begin the new year. In 2022, we registered 23 new trademarks and 11 new patents. Congratulations to Sachin, Kevin, Olena, Paul, Dominic, and many others. Their patents, trademarks and copyrights will give all of them the exclusive right to make and sell their product and the exclusive right to use their brand. This is an enormous advantage! Some of my clients with patents, trademarks and copyrights have had to enforce or defend them.  The law office stepped up. We wrote and sent those cease and desist letters. We responded to them, too, quickly and efficiently resolving the disputes and freeing our clients to focus on running their businesses. More than once, we had to send a DMCA takedown notice.

We have our clients’ backs at all stages of their business. Early on, before patents issue, we provide our clients with a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). NDA’s give our clients peace of mind to get financing or manufacturing off the ground. For more established businesses, licensing and distribution agreements create brand new revenue streams.
