Because patents are public documents, inventor contact information is technically, too. These companies regularly skim the Patent Office database for new inventor contact information. They love-bomb unsuspecting independent inventors promising lucrative licensing deals for their amazing products. Be aware of these companies. Do you know those signs in the airport that warn you that anyone who approaches you for a ride shouldn’t be offering you one?
